DJC Massage & Aromatherapist

In 2009 I attended an ITEC level 3 course in Holistic Massage and Anatomy and Physiology at Adult Education, which I passed with flying colours.  I enjoyed the course so much I spent the next 4 to 5 years learning different massage therapies including Aromatherapy and Hot Stones Massage and Sports Massage at ITEC level 3.   In 2013, I attended another course with Adult Education and I gained a Level 4 VTCT in Sports Massage.   I have worked with athletes at the London Marathon and other charity sporting events.  I have also worked at Dartford Harriers in the evenings providing pre and post sports massage.

Before I set up my own therapy business in 2013, I spent 8 months working voluntarily with a local Hospice, giving complementary therapies to Day Centre clients, using Aromatherapy oils I blended myself, as I am a qualified Aromatherapist.  I enjoyed this work as it was very rewarding in the fact that I had helped the clients during their last days or months of their lives.

I have worked regularly for the last two years with a local mental health charity, providing seated massage and Indian head massage. This is also very rewarding work.  I have worked for corporate companies for their staff well-being events in Kent and London and have worked in local Government offices and BUPA hospitals, providing on-site seated massage.
